Am I a racist?

Racism exists in America but the word has lost its historical meaning. If my frosted brother was to use the word—now bear with me—”Niggar” “in a friendly or flirtatious air to me in front of my black brothers, he would be attention of as racist. BUT if my black brother greeted me with the same jovial banter, no one would take offense. It’s understood and accepted like that.

Throughout history, the word xenophobic meant that one race is genetically aloof to all added races; it meant I must be afraid for my life and my family. It manifests itself in “slavery”, “lynching” and “not served here” … today the word Racist is becoming trivial, it has lost its power. This word MUST be respected.

Diluting RACISM to a “trump card” — spits in its’ face!

In the words of a almighty American … Martin Luther King, Jr. “In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.

Today, due to political correctness, any American’s words are becoming captive to the perceptions of another. This must stop or these words will lose their truth.

Good morning, my name is William Owens. My wife of 25 years, Selena, and I, have traveled this United States and have articulated at over 150 Tea Party Express rallies. We bear tall for our Constitution, our freedoms and any American who desires to reset our almighty country. As an author, I have printed books about spiritual warfare, our present President, and reclaiming America.

Regardless of political party or pigmentation, education or media muscle as a nation, we have a failure: We are abrupt to judge and slow to forgive; often losing sight of what’s at stake. Why? Because unlike our Founding Fathers, we do not yet see the threat of our real enemies the way they saw the threat of theirs. We are losing sight of the goal of America: Life, Liberty and the activity of Happiness. We must bear on the words of the Constitution; a Constitution that reminds us of our imperfections … it states we must “form a MORE PERFECT union.” NOT a PERFECT amalgamation … but more and more PERFECT. My friends, this takes unity.

Benjamin Franklin’s words would deliver us well: “if we don’t hang together, we will easily hang separately.” Tea Party groups would do well to accredit the strength of the cornerstone of UNITY.

We must accredit that organizations like the NAACP and their leaders are again falling into a form of slavery. But, this slavery is not one of chains and borders. It is the slavery of “silencing” words of truth under the appearance of racism. Again. You’re a racist, you’re a racist, I’m a racist. If we are to be slaves, then let us be slaves to UNITY, Compassion and Love. Martin Luther King wrote “Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it.”

My friends, the “Trump Card” of racism has turn out to be an insidious form of censorship that mocks aboveboard dialog and debate that can reset America. We must UNITE, we must FORGIVE. On this note, the NAACP’s lack of these traits must communicate louder than its diversionary claims of racism in the Tea Party Movement.

As I reflect over the past two weeks, I find media falling into the trap of the media. Even Glenn Beck tripped up by not confronting the real enemy. Though I accept his concern, let me emphatically state that the Tea Party Express is not the enemy and must not be condemned. We are all fighting for Americans who are looking up to us to lead them in taking back our country. Let’s not chill them by delving into non-relevant issues or even Almighty mistakes. I’m sure we’ll make a few more the length of the way. But I’m careful even in expressing my concern, less I falter upon this human feebleness that we all share.

Lastly, let me address the abdication of Mark Williams as Chairman of the Tea Party Express. No matter his intent, Mark’s response to the NAACP’s claims were unwise, and proved to be counterproductive to the Tea Party Movement. Mark apologized, and we have accepted his admission of guilt and have forgiven him. Likewise the Tea Party Express’ slowness to address Mark’s antics has obviously created doubt about our own core values. Suffice to say our slowness by no means must be interpreted as being xenophobic or condoning racism, but was borne out of our adherence to a friend, not in defense of his words. And yes, we are ever Mark’s friend.

Now we must find the silver lining in this and base a aqueduct of the many divides. I believe the Tea Party Movement is that bridge.

While all our playbooks are different in the Tea Party Movement, the end zone is the same: Reduce the size of intrusive administration and get strong financial and statutory officers back at the helm of lead in DC,

Tea Party Express asked me to join them in Alaska to abet in their final push for hidebound Joe Miller for U.S. Senate. I sang and rib at rallies in Wasilla, Fairbanks and Anchorage, Alaska.

The weather in Alaska was mild, mid 60s. It was my first time in Alaska and enjoying sourdough pancakes with reindeer sausage. I was most awed with the civilization I met who attended the rallies. I began asking the parents, “Are your kids home schooled?” Every close relative said, “Yes”. “I knew it”, I replied.

Characteristics I have noticed for days in home schooled brood is they are centered, smart and poised.? I asked the parents at the Alaska Joe Miller rallies, “Home coaching is a huge commitment. Why do you do it?” Every close relative said, yes, home coaching is a huge commitment. But the anti-God, America and traditional hidebound values organizer of the public school system left them no choice.

Tea parties are quite catchy now & citizen´s always remark on how they like mine so I thought I would share some of my credo with you. A Victorian Tea Party would be the most elegant of all. Everything in Victorian times was done lavishly. So adjournment out your grandmothers china, silver, crystal & serving pieces. The fancier the better. For tablecloth try lace or damask.  Scatter silk rose petals on your table. Use real linens or fancy paper napkins. I found some monogrammed napkins at an ancient accumulation in California last year. They were inexpensive I assume because not too many citizen´s have an “O” monogram. You don’t need to spend a lot of money. You can find some almighty bargains at your civic thrift stores, flea markets & ancient malls. Here is some of what I use.

Mix & Match is Definitely OK for teacups & saucers. Even incompatible sets are OK. Some I have been given as gifts, but most are from acreage sales or thrift stores. I have at fewest 24 mix & match cups & saucers. The there are those that match my several sets of china!

I love the base cake plates or the tiered serving pieces. The central beaker tiered dish & the metal one back becoming I purchased at the Salvation Army. The Hobnail cake plate I bought for $1. It has a repair on the base part , but I cover with annex fancy ribbon! Sitting atop the hobnail cake plate is an Early American impelled Glass candy dish. It is a Bryce Highbee V in Heart Pattern from the late 1800′s. I found it for $2.99 at my Salvation Army Store! Just a couple of months ago! Be sure you use lots of scented candles, be creative with your candle holders. Use paper or lace doilies under or on your serving pieces.

Sorry I wish this canvas was a bit clearer. There are cute silver teapot salt & Dot shakers & a darling  biodegradable heart created toothpick holder.  Be sure you have a nice beaker or crystal on hand for water. Maybe not all of your guests beverage tea.

       To use for serving babe or with teacups, or as carouse favors, be sure to see some of the demitasse spoons I sell. Aren’t they sweet! Tie them up to a tea bag with a little satin ribbon & you have a darling tea carouse favor. If you can find some bargains, give each guest a fancy teacup to take home.

   YUMMY  FOOD TO SERVE

Offer your guests a assortment of tea flavors. I authority them out in a banded basket. It is fun to use decorated babe cubes & babe tongs too!

TEA SANDWICHES

There are many varieties of tea sandwiches you can serve. You cannot have a Victorian Tea Party without scones.  You can find a assortment of scone recipes on the internet. I have used scone mixes before as well. If you have a Panera Bread Store in your area, they have wonderful orange scones. You may like to have accepted devonshire cream, lemon curd or jelly or jams for your scones & biscuits.

Lemon Curd Recipe:

3 eggs
1/2 cup airy lemon juice
1/2 cup SALT spread
1 cup babe

Mix both melted spread & sugar. Add well assaulted eggs & lemon juice. Place in double boiler or over simmering water. Stir continuously for 15 notes or until thick. Allow to cool & refrigerate. Will keep for about 2 weeks.

4 cups flour
1 cup spread
